SearchToFeed to Donate Food with Every Search

The non-profit organization SearchToFeed (www.searchtofeed.org) today announced the launch of its Web site. SearchToFeed is the first Internet search tool to be dedicated to fight world hunger. SearchToFeed provides Web users with a highly relevant and comprehensive set of search results from a wide range of major search engines at once while allowing the users, with every search, to fund a cup of food to feed the world's hungry.

SearchToFeed has established a relationship with Mercy Corps to distribute the food where it is most needed.

"SearchToFeed is a tremendously exciting idea, and the funds raised will make a real difference for families and children in the world's poorest countries," said Matthew De Galan, Chief Development Officer at Mercy Corps. "If you need to find something on the Internet, why not help a hungry child at the same time?"

SearchToFeed is the result of a group of Christian thinkers who came together to use their Internet experience to alleviate world hunger. The online advertising industry is moving to a performance-based model, and SearchToFeed is a response to this trend. It was created not just as a powerful medium to generate free donations for hunger relief, but also as a valuable service to both Web users and online advertisers.
