Monigle Associates, a leading corporate identity and branding firm, today announced its second partnership with American Humane, the nation's only nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting both children and animals from abuse, to update its brand identity and strategy that Monigle created more than 25 years ago. American Humane's new branding initiative, which coincides with the organization's 125th anniversary, will provide a fresh foundation for creating nationwide awareness of the organization and work.

"As we celebrate 125 years, American Humane is ready for a new look that reflects our strong history and mission moving forward," says Bob Roth, American Humane's vice president of public programs and marketing. "Monigle Associates designed our existing corporate identity in 1977, which carried us through the past 25 years successfully, making the firm a natural choice for the re-branding campaign 25 years later. Our partnership with Monigle is a vital part of our effort to strengthen American Humane's brand impact and recognition."

Although American Humane is the only organization in the country devoted to developing programs and services on behalf of abused and neglected children and animals, many organizations have emerged with similar missions and interests. American Humane looks to its corporate identity and branding strategy to differentiate the organization and help reinforce its unique mission to relevant audiences.

"American Humane has a rich and successful history, but the organization was looking to refresh its identity to reflect a new era and to create differentiation," says Ben Dybas, senior graphic designer for Monigle Associates. "Monigle is focused on creating a new, updated identity that captures the strength and credibility of the organization, while helping it achieve its goals into the next 125 years."

Monigle Associates will work on a pro-bono basis to redesign American Humane's corporate identity, provide brand management strategy, and campaign launch direction. With the new corporate identity, American Humane hopes to better increase awareness about the problem of child and animal neglect and abuse, advocate for the most promising solutions to the problem, and advance those solutions through youth and adult education nationwide.

"We're extremely proud of our enduring relationship with American Humane," says Rick Jacobs, principal of Monigle Associates. "We fully believe in the organization's mission and will continue to support the organization on a pro-bono basis."

American Humane will formally implement the brand across all corporate communication channels in early 2003.
