If you live in Tampa, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC/Virginia, here's your chance to try out a Free Farmed certified product!

Last fall, the American Humane Association unveiled its new Free Farmed program, which is now giving consumers the option to purchase products from humanely raised animals. We've recently learned that in three cities, the national restaurant chain T.G.I.Friday's is serving Meyer Natural Angus Burgers, which has qualified to carry AHA's Free Farmed label. These hamburgers come from cattle that have been raised according to AHA's strict farm animal welfare standards.

If T.G.I.Friday's gets a positive response to the test underway in Philadelphia, Tampa, and Washington, DC, we are hopeful that more of the chain's restaurants nationwide will serve Meyer's Free Farmed certified hamburgers. But, we need your help.

If you live in the Tampa, Philadelphia or Washington, DC, area, stop by your local T.G.I.Fridays restaurant to try a Meyer Natural Angus Burger. When you're finished, please fill out a comment card to let T.G.I.Fridays know you appreciate they are serving products that come from humanely raised animals. Also, let the wait staff know you appreciate the restaurant is carrying Free Farmed certified products.
