AHA Announces Humane Images Photo ContestAmerican Humane Association Looking to see your fantastic family photos published? Proud of that photogenic family pet? Want to share your breathtaking wildlife photography with the world? If so, then it's time to enter the American Humane Association's (AHA) "Humane Images" photo contest. With $200 in prize money, and the wining photo published in an AHA publication and on the World Wide Web, entering this exciting new contest will give photographers across the nation the chance to show off their "Humane Images." "Since 1877, the American Humane Association's mission has been to protect children and animals," said Jack Sparks, AHA's Director of Communications. "The 'Humane Images' photo contest is a chance for people to show us pictures of those children and animals who are most important in their lives. Whether it's a fun picture of your child and pet playing together, a fantastic family photo or a special shot of wildlife, we want to see your humane images." Sparks said people can submit photos to the "Humane Images" contest in three separate categories: Children/Families; Children & Animals; and, Animals. A panel of judges will select a winner in each category, and from those winners a Grand Prize winner will be chosen. All winning entries will be published in a nationally distributed AHA publications, as well as be featured on the organization's website. The Grand Prize winner will also receive a $200 cash prize.
