ABC's World News Tonight with Peter Jennings Features American Forests' Historic Tree NurseryAmerican Forests "We're trying to take people who think of themselves as historians and turn them into tree planters," said Jeffrey Meyer, project director of American Forests' Historic Tree Nursery. Meyer was quoted during ABC's April 26 broadcast of World News Tonight with Peter Jennings. The story also featured history buff Ken Roberts with the more than 2,000 trees he's propagated from the American Forests' Historic Tree Nursery. From Washington's tulip poplar to Graceland's Elvis oaks, ABC pays an Arbor Day homage to America's most famous and historic trees.
