Widow of Todd Beamer Will Speak, Sign New Book

Lisa Beamer, widow of hijacked Flight 93 passenger Todd Beamer, will be at Focus on the Family on Friday, November 22. A public figure since her husband's heroic death on September 11, 2001, Lisa comes to Focus with a piercing story of courage, love and triumph in the face of tragedy.

Lisa will be interviewed live by Dr. James Dobson at 10:30 am in Focus' morning chapel service. Afterwards, she will sign copies of her bestselling book Let's Roll! from 12:15 – 1:00 in the Focus on the Family bookstore. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Let's Roll! chronicles Lisa's intimate journey of suffering and hope in the days and months following the life-changing events of September 11. For those wanting to make sense of it all, Let's Roll! shows why one can and should trust in God, even in the midst of unforeseen adversity. Lisa says, "I've chosen to live in hope. The pain is real but so is the hope."

Media is invited to attend both the chapel service and the booksigning. Chapel will be held in Focus on the Family's main administration building, and the bookstore is located inside the Welcome Center on the northwest corner of the campus.
