Next Generation of Easter Seals Takes A Look At America's Current Dance Craze

This year, Easter Seals takes a new step in television programming, sponsoring "Swing Into Spring" -- a one-hour special airing on PAX Television on Saturday, March 25th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. "Swing Into Spring" also airs a second time on PAX TV on Sunday, March 26th at 4:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Tony-Award-winning actor Barry Bostwick, now of ABC-TV's Spin City, hosts "Swing Into Spring" and celebrates the many cross-generational dances that are making everything old new again in America. "This year's special on a national network is a first for us, and we're very excited to continue telling Easter Seals' story in a manner that is inventive and entertaining," says James E. Williams, Jr., President and CEO of Easter Seals, based in Chicago.

"Swing Into Spring" is targeted to key demographic groups that recognize and respect Easter Seals' name, but aren't quite sure what the organization does," says executive producer Dick Block. "Our strategy is to offer programming that people want to watch, while keeping with the Easter Seals image and story. Easter Seals story is told through a series of vignettes, that use characters to highlight Easter Seals' corporate partners' businesses and good works that support Easter Seals services on a year-round basis.

"Swing Into Spring" is produced by Easter Seals. Dick Block is executive producer; Leslie Wilson is producer.
