Linda Hines, CEO and President of Delta Society®, Retires After 25 YearsDelta Society Linda Hines, CEO and President of Delta Society®, has retired after 25 years of service with the organization. Linda was the first Executive Director of Delta and began her career with Delta in 1983. Under her leadership, Delta was able to pioneer programs that focused on the power of the human-animal bond. "Lifelong devotions take us to special places in our lives that give us passion and tremendous meaning for life. It is one thing to do what is asked of you and what you are capable of. It is quite another whole magical thing to do all that you were meant to do. Luckily for all of us who have worked with Delta Society, we''ve been incredibly fortunate to have been led by Linda, who clearly has worked for over 25 years to do all that she was meant to do." Merry Crimi, DVM, Chair of the Board of Directors, Delta Society Linda has been appointed to the Delta Society's Honorary Board of Directors and is now an independent Special Projects Consultant, helping organizations provide effective human-animal bond programs. Jon Eastlake, Vice President, Finance has been appointed the interim CEO while a nationwide search is being conducted for a permanent CEO. Delta Society, headquartered in Renton, WA is a non-profit international human service organization whose mission is to improve human health through service and therapy animals. Delta's programs and services include its volunteer Pet Partners® Program and Animal-Assisted Therapy Services.
