The National Health Council this week certified that the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation is in full compliance with all 35 of the National Health Council's mandatory and 13 non-mandatory Good Operating Practices standards.

The Good Operating Practices were established to ensure that the Council's member voluntary health agencies are fully accountable to the public and their constituent populations. The standards address organizational policies and practices in the areas of governance, fund-raising, financial reporting, personnel, program services, finance and program evaluation.

Founded in 1920, the National Health Council is a private, nonprofit organization, dedicated to improving the health of all Americans.
