Catholic Charities USA Names Eileen Friedman As its New Development Associate

Catholic Charities USA has named Eileen Friedman as its new development associate responsible for securing financial support from corporations, foundations, and religious congregations.
Friedman brings to Catholic Charities USA a host of fundraising experience having served as assistant director for fundraising and membership and as a grant writer for United Community Ministries—a private, non-profit, community-based social service agency.

Prior to joining UCM, Friedman worked for Common Cause—a nonpartisan citizens' lobbying organization promoting accountability in government—in several capacities, including serving as vice president for membership and communications and director of public information. Friedman, a Virginia native, holds a Masters of Public Administration from George Washington University and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

Located in Alexandria, VA, Catholic Charities USA is the national service center for a network of 1,640 local Catholic Charities agencies and institutions nationwide.
