Alzheimer's Association Appoints New Vice President of Finance and TechnologyAlzheimer's Association The Alzheimer's Association announces the appointment of Daniel Williams, MSA, CPA, to the post of Vice President of Finance and Technology. Williams, 41, will be responsible for stewarding the financial assets of the Alzheimer's Association and providing overall direction in the areas of finance, technology, and office services. "Dan brings a wealth of experience to the Association. His expertise will help to enhance our administrative systems and capacity, providing a solid basis from which to pursue our dual mission of conquering Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research and enhancing care and support for individuals, their families, and caregivers," said Alan Stone, Alzheimer's Association president and CEO. Prior to joining the Association, Williams was vice president, finance, and chief financial officer, at Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago, IL, where he contributed significantly to the financial turn-around of the hospital. Before that he held the posts of vice president, finance, at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, MI, and vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Laurel Health System in Wellsboro, PA. Williams holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University and a master's of science and administration from the University of Notre Dame.
