Sam's Town 250 NASCAR race benefits St. JudeSt. Jude Children's Research Hospital (ALSAC) On Oct. 18, the NASCAR Busch Series race rolls into the Memphis Motorsports Park in Memphis, Tennessee, for the annual Sam's Town 250 benefiting St. Jude. The race will be broadcast live on TNT beginning at 2 p.m. Central time. Busch drivers Greg Biffle, Mike Bliss, Scott Wimmer and Kyle Busch will be racing in specially painted cars featuring Universal Studios' scary foursome – The Wolf Man, Frankenstein, Dracula and The Mummy. The Sam's Town Tunica resort hosted a "Monster Bash" to open the weekend festivities, featuring an autograph session with three of the four NASCAR Busch Series drivers, accompanied by their scary monster counterparts. A silent auction of auto memorabilia, NASCAR collectibles and racing accessories was also held with proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which serves the needs of children worldwide. The partnership between St. Jude and the Sam's Town 250 is believed to be the only NASCAR race that directly benefits a national charity.
