Country music artists are standing tall for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Eight stories tall, to be exact.

Our Country, a new IMAX film celebrating the history of country music, made its premiere on an eight-story movie screen in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 25, and St. Jude was the recipient of a $250,000 donation from Gaylord Entertainment and the Grand Ole Opry on behalf of the country music artists featured in the new, large-format film.

Performers such as Charlie Daniels, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Loretta Lynn, Vince Gill and Martina McBride appear in the film. In lieu of compensation, the participating artists elected to have the money go to St. Jude.

Along with Gaylord Entertainment president and CEO Colin Reed, Randy Owen of ALABAMA and co-founder of the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids® radiothon fund-raising program helped present the large check to St. Jude at the Nashville world premiere.

In addition to Nashville, the IMAX film will be shown in other large-format theaters across the country this summer and fall.
