Top golfers round out lineup for FedEx St. Jude Classic

This June, the golfing world will once again turn its eye toward Memphis, Tenn., and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as the 46th annual FedEx St. Jude Classic tees off.

The event, scheduled for June 22-29 at the Tournament Players Club of Southwind, will see a number of today's top golfers vying for the FESJC title. Last year's champion Len Mattiace will be on hand to defend his title against the following players who have made earlier commitments: Nick Price, Jay Haas, David Toms and John Daly.

The FESJC is the only PGA Tour event with the affiliated charity in its title. The event has benefited St. Jude solely since 1970. In 1986, FedEx became title sponsor of the tournament. Over the years, the tournament has raised more than $14 million for St. Jude, with $12.7 million of that figure raised since FedEx began its sponsorship.
