(Memphis, Tennessee, April 27, 2001) GoCollect.com (www.gocollect.com) has joined Enesco Group, Inc., and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® by offering to donate $1 to the hospital when GoCollect.com shoppers purchase any item from The Cherished Teddies® Collection from now until Mother's Day, May 13.

To make a donation during the event, simply enter the Promo Code: GIVE at checkout and an additional $1 will be added to the shopping cart. To acknowledge the donation, GoCollect will "pin-up" a donor's name on their site. Following the month-long promotion, GoCollect will forward the total amount raised to St. Jude to help more children beat cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.

"We are thrilled that our online collectibles catalog gives shoppers another easy way to purchase their beloved Cherished Teddies and participate in this incredible charitable giving program," said Carole Klein-Alexander, senior director, consumer marketing, GoCollect.com. "The Internet can be a powerful information tool about products and programs that benefit people worldwide. GoCollect is honored to have the opportunity to partner with Enesco and St. Jude in their crusade to help seriously-ill children."

GoCollect's promotion is in addition to the 5th annual Enesco Cherished Teddies/St. Jude Pin-Up Promotion. At all Cherished Teddies authorized dealers throughout the U.S. (Hallmark stores and local gift shops), customers can donate $1 to St. Jude by purchasing a Cherished Teddies pin-up. In return for their donations, patrons write their names on the pins-ups, which the establishment displays on its walls throughout the month-long promotion.

Enesco's Cherished Teddies collection and Radio Flyer® also partnered during the promotion to create a special figurine to benefit the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Cherished Teddies figurine, entitled "Booker and Fletcher – Together Wherever We Go," depicts two bears riding in the trademarked Radio Flyer red wagon and can be purchased for $28.50. Enesco will donate seven percent of the proceeds directly to St. Jude. In addition, Radio Flyer has also agreed to donate a portion of their royalties to the hospital.

In 2000, 828 Cherished Teddies retailers raised more than $142,000 during a similar promotion. Enesco's goal for 2001 is to have more than 2,500 retailers raise $250,000.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee, was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas. The hospital is an internationally recognized biomedical research center dedicated to finding cures for catastrophic diseases of childhood. The hospital's work is supported through funds raised by the American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC). All St. Jude patients are treated regardless of their ability to pay. ALSAC covers all costs of treatment beyond those reimbursed by third party insurers, and total costs for families who have no insurance. For more information, please visit www.stjude.org.
