Friday, 3 January 2003

For the sixth year, Girls and Boys Town is joining hands with local nonprofit organizations to help a growing number of children and families in need. These partnerships are especially important in tough economic times.

Since the Girls and Boys Town Partnership Program inception in 1997, Girls and Boys Town has worked with more than 65 organizations to serve more than 4,000 participants. In 2003, Girls and Boys Town will partner with 25 non-profit organizations- the most ever in one year!

Partners will receive training or direct services to help their members in many facets of family life. Programs offered to this year's partners include Common Sense Parenting® classes, Working with Aggressive Youth Workshop, Unmasking Sexual Con Games Workshop, Caring Skills for Christian Families, and Well Managed Classroom for Catholic Schools.
