The "Heroes' Fund" has been established due to the enormous outpouring of support from people all over the country wanting to assist the families of those who perished in the line of duty.  "I want the families of these true heroes to know that America Cares," stated Robert C. Macauley, Founder and Chairman of AmeriCares. "My family and I are honored to offer $1,000,000 to these families through the AmeriCares 'Heroes' Fund."
