ABOUT THE AMERICAN LIVER FOUNDATION AWARDS

To honor outstanding individuals in the fight against hepatitis and other liver diseases, the American Liver Foundation (ALF) has a number of awards to be presented in April, 2004. These awards, which are listed below, will recognize the important contributions of dedicated volunteers, chapter leaders, physicians, corporate executives, government officials, and organizations who generously give their time, talent and financial commitment to fulfill our mission: to prevent, treat and cure hepatitis and other liver diseases through research, education and advocacy.

NOMINATIONS: Any person or organization that has made an important contribution to the fight against liver disease may be nominated for an ALF award. To make a nomination, fill out the Call for Nominations form (attached as PDF files at the top of this page). If you would like to submit nominations for more than one award, you may photocopy the Call for Nominations form. Nominations should be sent to the American Liver Foundation, Attn: Jason Price, 75 Maiden Lane, Suite 603, NY, New York 10038.

There are two deadlines set for nominations:

NO LATE NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

ALF's Awards Committee will select the winners. The Distinguished Scientific Achievement award recipient selection will be made with the assistance of a scientific review committee.
