The American Refugee Committee is pleased to announce that for the third consecutive year, it has been named to Worth Magazine's list of Top 100 Charities.

"This is a great honor, a tribute to the dedication of our staff around the world," remarked ARC president Hugh Parmer. "Considering there are more than 800,000 charities in the U.S., we're thrilled to be ranked in the Top 100."

"We truly value this recognition," continued vice president Joe Bock. "It helps us more widely convey our message, that citizens of the United States can indeed have a lasting impact on the health and welfare of the most desperate people around the world."

ARC's programs provide refugees and displaced people in Africa, Asia and Europe with food, housing, medical care, skills training, health education, disease prevention, and microenterprise development services. Of the roughly 36 million people in the world who have been displaced due to war or civil conflict, ARC's programs impact nearly one million of them.
