American Jewish Committee, in New York Times Ad, Highlights Hate Education in Arab, Muslim Countries

In an advertisement on the op-ed page of today's New York Times, the American Jewish Committee highlights the teaching of pure hatred of Jews and Christians – and of the United States – in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Syria and the Palestinian Authority.

"Brainwashing children to hate is the foundation for future terrorism," states the AJC ad, entitled "No one is born hating, but too many are taught how." The ad includes a photo of a young child, suited up as a suicide bomber, encircled by masked adults, also dressed as suicide bombers.

Despite the documented teaching of hatred and weapons training among young children, "the international community remains eerily silent,"the AJC ad points out.

No one is born hating...But too many are taught how!

According to the New York Times, 10th graders in Saudi Arabia are taught that Muslims must "consider the infidels [Christians and Jews] their enemy." In Pakistan, nearly one million students in religious schools, funded largely by Saudis, learn to demonize the United States and pursue "holy war"against Americans. The educational systems in Syria and the Palestinian Authority teach the vilest hatred of Jews.

Instead of playing with toys, these young children are provided with weapons training and hateful slogans, as schools, religious leaders, and even parents tell them how to kill non-Muslims and become "marytrs" by killing themselves.

This role-playing is no game. Brainwashing children to hate is the foundation for future terrorism, and yet the international community remains eerily silent.
