AJC Extends Condolences To Israel; Calls Helicopter Crashes A National Tragedy

The American Jewish Committee extends heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Israel on the horrific crash of two Israel Defense Forces helicopters yesterday. The loss of 73 people through this accident is a national tragedy. These young people played an important role in Israel's defense. Their deaths affect deeply every community and every family in the Jewish State. Our thoughts are with them on this day of national mourning.
