This study on the benefits of alcohol specifically shows the restricted benefit of one alcoholic drink daily in middle-aged and older Americans. It also outlines the dangers of alcohol by showing an increase in the death rates of people who consume more than the one drink daily. The article also reminds us of the great dangers of smoking tobacco.
