Duck Numbers Up
Ducks Unlimited | The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service today released the breeding duck population and May pond numbers from its 2003 survey, conducted each year in cooperation with the Canadian Wildlife Service.

Muscular Dystrophy Association | A photograph by Michael Lee Rabe of Carson City, Nev., has been accepted by the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Art Collection. Now in its 12th year, the Collection features artwork by people from across the country with neuromuscular diseases.

Muscular Dystrophy Association | "Grandpa's Pride" is a classic winter scene, depicting a rural barn, its roof covered with snow. A nearby snow-dusted evergreen tree looks like it's just waiting to be decorated for the upcoming holiday season.

Muscular Dystrophy Association | "Chasing Windmills" is a fanciful piece, depicting a small boat drifting along a river past two windmills. A brilliant sky is reflected off the surface of the river.
